JoySprings Clubhouse Within our centre, we have a clubhouse named “JoySprings”. It is located at the fourth floor of the building. It is endowed with a variety of facilities to assist the members in their rehabilitation and recovery process. The clubhouse is a place for our members to have recreation, leisure and interaction. It houses an exercise gym, art & craft corner, music room, games corner, karaoke room, basketball court and many more. It is a place where members can interact, socialize, network and have fun together. Former clients are always welcomed to enjoy the facilities and maintain contacts with other clients as our JoySprings members.
Goals Firstly, the clubhouse aims to help members toward their recovery process and to provide members with the resources and environment that allows them to experience wellness through meaningful, recreational and social activities. Secondly, the clubhouse also aims to provide support for ex-members and to sustain them in their recovery process and wellness.
Programs Some of the current programs include: • Traditional Chinese painting Membership to JoySprings is restricted to current and ex-members of Simei Care Centre and is not available to the general public. Existing members of Simei Care Centre automatically qualify as members. Upon discharge from Simei Care centre, their membership will automatically lapse.
Ex-members of Simei Care Centre are actively encouraged to join as affiliate members. A small membership fee is payable. Facilities • JoySprings clubhouse office Operation Hours: • Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 9am to 8pm |
