Simei Care Centre provides a comprehensive day care program for the clients. The centre aims to provide a caring environment in which clients can regain skills and confidence through the programs and counseling sessions offered.

The main objectives of the centre is to help our clients minimize the effects of the psychiatric illness, improve their quality of life and to help them achieve their fullest potential.

The admission criteria for the day care program are as follow:

1. Must be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident (approval must be sought from MOH for foreigners and work permit holders). Patients diagnosed with psychiatric illness who are stabilized and on psychiatric follow up
2. No serious or acute medical conditions; no severe visual handicaps; no severe physical or intellectual disabilities
3. Not suffering from any communicable disease
4. No current history of substance abuses, such as drugs, alcohol, and glue sniffing
5. Not suicidal
6. Acceptable social habits and behaviour
7. Should not be less than 18 years old or over 60 years of age
8. Have some form of family or social support
